Katarina Ivanović (May 15, 1817 – September 22, 1882), was a Serbian painter, who lived mainly in Hungary. Katarina Ivanović, was born in Veszprém in Hungary to a middle-class family, and grew up in Székesfehérvár. After studying in Budapest, she worked in Belgrade from 1846 to 1847.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Katarina Ivanović Brief Bio )〕 In later years, she spent a lot of time traveling and living at different places, including Paris and Zagreb. In 1876, she was a member of the Society of Teachers of Serbia where she was the first female academic. She primarily painted still lifes and portraits.
